Eric Holder’s Resignation: An Opportunity For Introspection On Government Corruption

Is this the beginning of a D.C. shakedown or just an ongoing trend? How far down the road to tyranny are we?

It has not been announced why Holder is stepping down but the Attorney General’s designation as ‘the least popular politician in the United States‘ by a Hart Research Poll can’t help his outlook.

Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why he might be deserving of such a label.

1. Fast and Furious and the 2nd Amendment: Fast and Furious was an operation in pushing southern gun dealers into secretly selling weapons to Mexican drug cartels in order to track the weapons moving into Mexico. Things really started falling apart when whistle blowers at the ATF informed CBS News and Congress of this criminal operation, calling it ‘gunwalking’. It put thousands of weapons on the street, many of them used in violent crimes in Mexico. And two of the weapons were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

I’ve just touched the surface on this scandal but check out this report on how Holder, as any good propagandist would, uses his own crimes to manipulate the agenda for gun control.

2. Refusal to Prosecute Banks and Wall Street CEO’s: With the financial crisis wreaking untold havoc on millions across the globe, Holder has been blatantly criminal in covering up and protecting the guilty. His excuse? The economy would’ve suffered if the criminals were prosecuted.  Let me put this in simple terms: HSBC’s money laundering to the Sinaloa drug cartel is what keeps the economy going. Awesome; doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

3. Attacks on the Press and Whistleblowers: Prosecuting Chelsea Manning (over WikiLeaks), John Kiriakou (for exposing CIA torture), and filing charges against Edward Snowden (NSA leaks), Snowden brings in a total of seven cases filed by the Justice Department under the Espionage Act (four of which I’ve omitted here), which criminalizes disclosing information ‘relating to national defense’. Prior to this administration, there had been only three known cases resulting in indictments.

Didn’t Obama campaign on more protection for whistleblowers and more transparency for his administration? In investigating this travesty, I learned that not only were promises broken, they were removed from the internet.

Holder also oversaw aggressive measures taken on journalist James Rosen, Fox News’ chief Washington correspondent as a co-conspirator for soliciting classified information over a State Department leak by Stephen Jin-Woo Kim. The question has been raised if by simply soliciting information a reporter could ever be committing a crime.

Here’s the MIND BENDING TRUTH: this isn’t an isolated circumstance of ‘government gone wild’. This is the kind of business governments engage in. Tactics of FEAR and INTIMIDATION from people like Holder are sending a loud message to anyone that would oppose him or the agenda of his handlers. Yes, we are well along that road of tyranny.

Until enough people wake up to the lies and the corruption, they will keep sauntering down that road until the tyranny is total. What do we have to look forward to in Holder’s replacement? More of the same, but just maybe a little worse.

Here’s some highlights of this crook’s sociopathic career…

And here he shines as a ‘Big Brother’ propagandist…

Imagine a world where people like Eric Holder aren’t allowed to get away with committing these crimes. It start with looking in the mirror and acknowledging to yourself that YOU’RE NOT A SLAVE.

Update 9/29/14: Recent details released about Fast and Furious from Ben Swann.
